Washington Intranet Roadshow Exclusively for Not-for-profit organizations

25th November 2011– Interact has announced that it will be hosting a free intranet roadshow in association with Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation which will focus on the challenges not-for-profit organizations face in communicating with a dispersed workforce of employees and volunteers.

The event will be held on November 29th 2011 from 9.30 – 13.00 at the Elizabeth Glaser head office in Washington DC and is open to all intranet, Communications, IT and HR professionals working for not-for-profit organizations.

During the event attendees will have the chance to hear intranet success stories and learn how to become an intranet champion at their company. Attendees will also discover how a collaborative intranet can increase employee engagement and improve staff retention, as well as get hands-on time with Interact Intranet software to see first-hand how a successful intranet can transform a not-for-profit organization.

Elizabeth Glaser will explain how they have begun to transform the huge internal communications challenge their geographically spread work force across both the USA and Sub-Saharan Africa face.They will also demonstrate how the software has been a powerful tool in helping them achieve organizational knowledge management objectives, ultimately making them more efficient and effective towards achieving their goal of eliminating pediatric AIDS in the 17 countries where we work.
