What works now – Successful intranets within today’s digital workplace

Interact to return as event sponsor for Intranet Now conference, October 2017

Returning for its 4th consecutive year, the Intranet Now conference is set to welcome communications professionals and intranet managers from across the UK to explore challenges and trends affecting the digital workplace today.

Interact, proud sponsor for the event, will be exhibiting throughout the day while resident Interact Intranet Strategist, Kelly Freeman, is also set to deliver a presentation to attendees.

Intranet Now is an independent intranet conference, designed to bring together organizations and individuals to explore challenges around engagement, collaboration and communication. With a focus on conversation, the event invites attendees as active participators to share learnings, experience and best practice, connecting peers from across a broad range of industry sectors.

With over 10 years’ experience in the digital workplace arena, Interact will return to the Intranet Now conference to share insights and experience gained from serving market-leading software to over one million users across more than 800 organizations worldwide.

Combining our innovative intranet software with outstanding professional services, Interact is uniquely placed to explore the challenges and triumphs of delivering a winning employee experience in the modern-day workplace. Speaker Kelly Freeman will draw on real-life customer examples to demonstrate the trials and successes of successful intranet delivery.

With 4 years’ experience as an Intranet Strategist, Kelly comes from a background in internal communications, working for leading beauty and health retailer Superdrug. With first-hand experience both as an intranet manager and a strategist, Kelly brings to the event a true understanding of employee engagement and corporate communication issues.

The 2017 evet is set to welcome 200 attendees, with this year’s focus on ‘what works now’, rather than debating the future direction of workplace technology. Speakers on the day will explore problems facing organizations in the here and now – and how digital comms channels, platforms and intranets play a central role in supporting organizations to realize their strategic objectives.

Additional speakers on the day are set to include:

  • Ruth Kirkup, Corporate Relations Manager and internal communications expert at Diageo plc.
  • Joe Freeman, Assistant Director of Digital Engagement at Breast Cancer Now
  • Ross Tarbard, Senior Internal Communications Officer at University of Leicester
  • Martin White, Managing Director at Intranet Focus Ltd

… and many more. Visit the Speakers page on the Intranet Now site for additional information.

On conclusion of presentations in the afternoon, Intranet Now will feature its World Cafe: an opportunity for all attendees to move around the conference and sit with peers and speakers, to build connections, talk through ideas, and share experiences.

The event is ideally suited for communications and intranet professionals from all backgrounds and ranges of experience, with industry representation from across a broad range of sectors. Exhibitors and sponsors also include a variety of vendors, offering independent insight into the world of digital communications.

Intranet Now will be hosted at the Hilton Bankside in London on Thursday, 5th October 2017. Tickets are available now from the event website, with discounted team rates available for in-house practitioners.
