Interact Intranet Technical Requirements
Interact Intranet runs on the .Net standard Microsoft technology, integrating seamlessly with your existing infrastructure.
This ensures that investment is kept to a minimum and that Interact Intranet can be installed quickly, without disruption to everyday operations.
If you host Interact Intranet on your own servers you can enable remote access via either using SSL technology, or via VPN access, allowing your users to connect to your Intranet from outside the office.
The resources required by Interact Intranet are modest.
Typical Server Specification
- Intel Xeon Quad Core (or equivalent)
- 8GB RAM
- 5GB disk space for application (not including user file storage)
Server software requirements
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or 2008 32-bit
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or 2008 64-bit
- Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 or higher must be installed as part of the Windows Server installation.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
- Active Directory is recommended for simple synchronised user administration

- Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008

Interact Intranet can either be installed in a physical or virtual environment (e.g. VMWare or Microsoft Hyper-V).
