ASPCA recognized for its use of social intranet software
NEW YORK, July 1, 2015 — After an award-winning intranet launch in 2014 followed by unremitting internal engagement, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) has been recognized for its outstanding example of how an intranet project should be executed. The nonprofit organization won ‘Project of the Year’, at the Employee Engagement Awards, hosted in New York City on June 17 2015. Bringing together business professionals from across North America, the event acknowledges organizations looking to create people-engaged cultures.
Dr. Nigel Danson, CEO and Founder of Interact commented, “This is an outstanding example of a customer who has embraced employee experience and as a result, has realized benefits like increased efficiencies and internal engagement.”
This win comes after the ASPCA received the Interact Excellence Award for ‘Best Intranet Launch’, earlier this year, and is the latest in a line of employee engagement and communication awards won by Interact customers. These include The CIO100, The Employee Communications Awards, Chartered Institute of Public Relations Awards, Institute of Internal Communication Awards and EFQM Recognized for Excellence.
Matt Manners, founder, The Employee Engagement Awards, said, “Congratulations to our winners – they have rightly been recognized for excellence in improving employee engagement to drive wellbeing, better work environments and organizational success.”
Other winners of Employee Engagement Awards include Ford, Horizon Media, SquareSpace, Caesars Entertainment, and Tata. Winners were selected by an exclusive panel of judges.
