With over 250 attendees, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to network with peers.

Our agenda is rapidly coming together with some of the most enigmatic speakers, including community specialists, HR practitioners, and live case studies from your peers. This conference has something for everyone. Take a look at who we’ve announced so far – I’m sure there will be something that sparks your interest.

We’re running an early bird offer which finishes on 29 May, and as an added incentive you can get an extra 15% off using discount code IIC15.

What’s on the agenda?

Here’s a flavour of who you’ll see this year:

Richard Millington, the founder and managing director of FeverBee, a community consultancy, will be speaking about how to create a sense of community and membership that’s required to drive engagement in your intranet. Essentially, how to influence users by integrating their needs and developing a shared emotional connection.

Sam Marshall, owner of ClearBox Consulting and a specialist in intranets and the digital workplace, will discuss how the boundaries of a modern intranet are becoming blurred by the growth of social and collaboration tools, mobile access and cloud applications. In this evolving landscape, intranets remain highly important, but the roadmap needs to plan for the digital workplace as a whole. Based on hands-on experience of developing strategy, Sam will show how approaching this from an employee perspective can bring clarity and purpose, but also how the emphasis needs to be as much on management as on technology.

Melcrum works with leaders and teams from leading global organisations to build skills and knowledge in internal communications. Victoria Mellor, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Melcrum will be presenting findings and insight from their recent large-scale study into intranets and digital.

Elizabeth Marsh, Research Director at the Digital Workplace Group, will be hosting a session entitled The Digital Renaissance of Work which will look at the big trends affecting the workplace, offering practical advice tailored to internal communications in the digital workplace.

Wendy Jordan is an internal communications obsessive and intranut and the Intranet Manager for Holmes, the multi-award winning intranet for Wheatley Group. In this talk, she will be discussing how happy people work harder. With people now spending 32% of their lives at work how do we make it a place people want to be and are motivated to give our best no matter what? Wendy will look at online and offline ways to engage people to help them give their all.

We have lots more exciting speakers in the pipeline, as well as a host of exciting intranets to showcase in our expo area. Keep your eyes peeled for new announcements over the coming days and weeks.

Take advantage of our early bird discount plus additional 15% off using code IIC15, by booking before 29 May.
